Here is a depiction of a young woman of berber (Amazigh) origin breastfeeding her first born. She come from a people better known as the tuaregs or Tarek "The abandonned Of God" This term would originally be attributed to the warriors. They are also called the blue people due to the indigo cloth they wear to cover themselves from the hot Saharan desert, which mark their skin with a blue tan. The tuareg people truly call themselves "Kel Tamasheq" which refers to their language. The Kel Tamasheq are of the Sahel region and can be found along the costs of Libya, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Also Morocco...
